I’m most curious how my body will change. Therapy is about tearing yourself down to the studs in order to rebuild. Then you collect the scrap materials that still have use left in them, and bring everything else to the dump 😂 Sometimes the task of taking on therapy is so great that it means letting go of behaviors and routines in order to focus inwardly. You indulge and baby yourself elsewhere. You cry when you feel like it. You spend a whole day watching TV in a catatonic state. You love yourself and forgive yourself. I started eating the odd treat more often. I stopped lifting and going on long walks (I’m not sure why but the walks started making me emotionally despondent, I alway came home crying lol) but maintained my daily yoga practice. During my cabin stay I’ll be picking up weights again and working with my physical therapist to get the muscle support system around my knees and lower back strengthened in that weird PT way where you master a move and so they make you rotate your angle 15 degrees and when you try to lift your leg it’s impossible. I’ll be eating in way way more than I have been and with spring sprung, I’ll be eating more varied foods again 🥰 For years I was a cook and then private in-home chef. Maybe I’ll share some of my recipes with you all. I’m excited.

Honestly, this kind of shit is 50% of my DMs, comments and inbox on Reddit. Mostly it’s DMs and messages as they know these kinds of comments often result in a subreddit ban. But Reddit admins don’t care that I have dedicated trolls who will make a hundred alt accounts just to send me this trash every day.
