📖 book review tuesday: last junji ito for a lil while i promise haha. This ones a long form story about sea creatures evading the land which is a super horrifying concept already but the execution takes it to the next level. some of his characters look a lil different for once which was fun. more sound effects than ever. 8.5/10

book review tuesday 📖 O! M! G! LOVE! so scary. another collection of short stories and i see why shiver is the title story because it is so spooky and so well written and drawn. this is my new favorite junji ito. this one also included lil blurbs about what inspired the stories and early draft pictures which was so cool to see. i loved watching him draw so many record players in the first story. 9.5/10

it’s tuesday soooo time for a book review 📖 or as of lately a manga review. once again junji ito. a lot of the stories in this were his early work so they’re obviously not up to par with his best stuff especially illustration wise but i still really enjoyed this. the last story especially stuck with me. 7/10

book review tuesday 📖 today we have another manga by my favorite mangaka junji ito! i love his stuff so much always but this new work of his really takes the cake 🎂 you can tell he’s been perfecting his craft for decades now and i swear he just keeps getting better and better. he’s definitely still continuing to progress and grow as an artist and storyteller and continues to amaze and impress me more and more the more i read. the stories are more long form than his usual one offs and i can’t tell if i like it or not. i think i do. 9/10
