I’ve always had such a soft spot for this story—it’s one of my all-time favorite cartoons. There’s just something so comforting about it. I watch it whenever I’m feeling down, and it never fails to lift my spirits. It reminds me of the importance of family, love, and belonging, even when things feel messy or out of place. I think we all have that one movie or show that feels like a warm hug, and for me, this is it. Lilo’s quirkiness, Stitch’s chaos, and the message that “ohana means family”—it all just hits in the best way. I’m really curious (and a little nervous) to see how they bring it to life in a new format, but I’m hopeful they’ll keep the heart of it intact. This story has been with me for years, through good times and bad, and the thought of seeing it reimagined is honestly kind of emotional. I’ll definitely be the one crying happy tears when it finally comes out.
