And you don't know until you try My DSLR is reasonable for photos though and i'd like to play around with it a bit more to get some practice. I'd like to upgrade my phone this year, I shoot a lot of content on it and I'm interested to see how much the quality has improved, especially for video. Eventually i think it would be cool to invest in a full frame camera but those are a few thousand dollars, which is a big investment. So for quality upgrade i think best bet is to start with a new phone, plus hopefully it's quick and easy to use. And down the line, perhaps look into a full frame camera investment. I put a lot of time energy and effort into making content so I appreciate when it looks GOOD especially in a few years time. If i'm going to spend the effort to create it helps when the result looks clear/well lit/professional. I also have to be thoughtful though about how much to spend and when to upgrade gear.
