Black lives will always matter. Today is a day to celebrate for black folk. You all deserve more then we’ve allowed you to have.
White folk, you know what our role is. Today is a time for us to do some internalized reflection on how we can continue to uplift, enable and empower black people and their communities for years to come. Please reflect that the backbone of our nation is slavery and the backbone of our current culture comes from black people. Black lives will always matter and we as white people need to do the most to love them. My platform is useless if i’m not uplifting others.
