✨transparency post✨ I do 3 sentence journaling every day to track my accomplishments, to-dos and moods. I have PMDD (basically super low-grade bipolar disorder tethered to my hormones) and ADHD so it’s super important. Not only for reflection and accountability but so I can see when I work the most and best. It helps me track when I am most up for new tasks, when I am actually able to complete goals for myself and when I shouldn’t. We all know how it feels to let yourself down. It stops progress for most of us. I used to work as a preschool teacher and there’s a practice called “setting them up for success”. It means you set tasks and expectations that match or scaffold (build new skills from old) development, needs and moods (a tired kid is not going to be up for challenging tasks for example). It’s cruel to expect something from someone who isn’t capable or able in the moment. Instead, you create momentum of completed tasks, trust and gained confidence which helps them tackle their next obstacle. So I gotta do all that for myself. I am realizing I need to prep for 11 or so days out of the month where I am not feeling into filming or taking pictures. I’m usually so bloated from my period, then horny so I can get something filmed. This week after always seems to be a horrible time for content creation. Mopey, weepy and not feeling myself at all. Mean to myself and my body. Withdrawn. Just icky. So, I’m going to be accountable to myself and you. I need to film additional content and take more photos so I have a more consistent stream of content for you all. I know I tend to flood but daily posts keep my content visible to you busy bees who follow a lot of creators. ❤️ Thank you for being here. Be kind to yourselves.
