Added 2021-05-24 18:40:01 +0000 UTCHere’s what’s going on in my neck of the woods: 1. Snacks is sick. This cat is like my familiar. He has kept me sane and here in some of my worst times. I got him ten years ago so he has been with me since we were both babies. The way I got him was I met him at a party I randomly went to and I knew he was my cat. He was a little kitten and I only saw him for 20 minutes but he was in my lap the whole time and I just knew. 10 months later, he needed a new home and I happened to open FB 3 minutes after his old owner posted about it and be first in line. His old owner warned me he’d go out and not return for days and wasn’t much of a cuddler. His first night home with me he slept in my lap for two hours while I played CoD. He likes to go on my walks with me. He comes home every day. All untrained. He’s just always been my buddy. He hates being at the vets (usually shakes the whole time he is there) so I am devoting time to go and just be with him. I am hoping to use this time to answer messages but if he wants me to lay on the floor so he can use my arm for a pillow, guess what is happening. 2. We are moving out of our old tiny studio into a bigger place. Which means after my cabin time I will still have a dedicated private space for myself and my content. And I’m very excited about that. But we are running around like mad men trying to get everything handled. 3. I am hoping to return to the cabin by tomorrow. Everything is going well today so barring any major complications with anything, I’ll be back up then! I’ll get the two remaining customs I have out by Thursday. ❤️❤️❤️❤️
