Added 2021-01-05 16:31:59 +0000 UTCThis was one of my favorite places. Utila. A small island in the Caribbean just off of Honduras. ( it’s part of Honduras, actually). The whole island is less than twenty square miles. The water is so warm and clear. I got scuba certified here, and the coral reef is the second largest next to the Great Barrier Reef, and it’s one of the only places where you can spot whale sharks year round. We didn’t manage to see any, but I saw a little sea turtle plus lots of brightly colored fish when I was down there!
