I used to be super envious of my classmates growing up in America. They were rich and stable so they could go to summer camps, be cheerleaders, have friends and holidays with their family happily? I still find myself confused a lot with my experiences. My parents said we weren’t rich enough for summer camp but our summer vacations included all the work/money to visit Mao ze bongs embalmed body in a glass case? And we traveled across the world and stood in line for half a day just to say we love him??? Im so weird and carrying a lot of room to grow bc of experiences like this. They also made me watch war documentaries when I was younger.
