Happy flash Friday! I know this isn’t the standard flashing photo, but today is Friday the 13th after all, so the norm can go out the window 😃. Ever wonder where Friday the 13th got its bad luck from? While the number 13 is considered unlucky, the number 12 has historically been considered complete, or whole. 12 months in a year, 12 days of Christmas, 12 hours on a clock, 12 inches in a foot, 12 disciples, etc. with the number 12 being complete and perfect, the following number could only throw off the universe, right? Some say the superstition came from this fact, others say it’s because Jesus was betrayed by Judas, and he being the 13th member at the last supper, the next day of course was Good Friday, the day of crucifixion. This is where the origins of Friday the 13th are said to have come from, but I didn’t mean to take you to church, I really just wanted to make you say Oh My God!
