🌤 There is nothing better than a cup of coffee and turning on the news during a quiet morning. Wanna know my favorite news paper? ✨WSJ!✨ ☕️ The Wall Street Journal was founded by Charles Dow, Edward Jones, and Charles Bergstresser in 1889. Charles Dow was a pioneer in financial journalism and is known for developing the Dow Jones Industrial Average, a stock market index that is still widely followed today. Edward Jones was a statistician who helped Dow develop the index, and Charles Bergstresser was a lawyer who helped incorporate Dow Jones & Company and served as its first president. The three men saw a need for a reliable source of financial information and analysis, and they founded the Wall Street Journal to fill that need. The newspaper was initially published as a four-page weekly called the Customer's Afternoon Letter, and it focused on providing information about the stock market and other financial matters. It was later renamed the Wall Street Journal and expanded to become a daily newspaper. 📰 🤓
